My name is Jingyi (Amy) Sun
JINGYIMAMA™ — Connecting the World Gracefully™
My name is Jingyi Sun, and I’m the founder of JINGYIMAMA™. Born and raised in Tianjin, China, I moved to New Jersey at the age of 22 to pursue an M.B.A. at Montclair State University. Navigating a new culture as a young adult opened my eyes to both the beauty and the challenges of cross-cultural communication.
Language has always been my passion and strength. At just 11 years old, I earned perfect scores in both English and Chinese, sparking a lifelong dream to help others reach their full potential through bilingualism and bicultural understanding.
In 2025, I founded JINGYIMAMA™ with the mission to empower people of all ages—from infants to elders—to embrace language and culture as lifelong treasures. Our work is rooted in grace, love, and connection, bridging generations and communities across the world.
As a passionate author, I create original books and stories that are not only fun and imaginative, but also gently introduce readers to English, Chinese, and the beauty of bicultural living. Through each story, my goal is to make language learning joyful, meaningful, and rooted in real cultural experiences.
At JINGYIMAMA™, we believe that every voice matters. Every story can connect us. And every word can build a bridge between hearts and cultures.
Jingyi Sun is a bilingual and bicultural author, interpreter, translator and educator with a deep love for storytelling. She holds an M.B.A. in Management and Information Systems, is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and a licensed New Jersey Realtor.
Her professional journey as a business analyst across diverse industries, combined with her lived experience as a Chinese-American mother and cultural bridge-builder, shapes her unique approach to education, storytelling, and community impact.
Through JINGYIMAMA™, Jingyi combines creativity with compassion, language with legacy—one story at a time.
